Easter- a different kind

Normally every year when Easter comes I am away, not a huge Easter person, spending it away from family intentionally, not remembering the real reason for this time of year. This year however I was asked to do some worship dance in the Easter Musical in Outlook. I was looking forward to being able to dance again. Through this time God showed me many misconceptions that I had of dance, and revealed to me what dancing for him was all about.
First he taught me that it can be done. We didn't get started on learning or even putting together the dances for the 4 or 5 songs until the week before. This worried me as I was thinking that we needed to get going on them, how was I to remember all of them and have them perfectly memorised?
Second he showed me through the choreographer, and the other dancer, that there is a spirit of performance, and that spirit was all around me and has been for years.
and third, to trust in Him, and that He will give me strength even when I feel weak.

Through prayer and guidance the 3 nights of musical were pulled off well. I finally had realised that it didn't matter what it looked liked, if I messed up, if we weren't perfectly in line, going the exact same speed. What mattered was that I was dancing in worship of Jesus Christ. The one who died to save me, something that I don't remember enough. I woke up really sick a day before the 3 nights of the musical started, and had a terrible cold, and it was through his strength that he gave it to me to be able to go and worship him, anytime before or after each performance, i was a walking, coughing, runny nose zombie.

God you are good
