Midnight Train

Via Rail is not behind Confed Mall, inless "behind" means out in the back fields of Montgomery where no one goes.

Dawn and I had to go out to ViaRail to pick up our tickets for when we are in Toronto to go to Niagara falls, the fun part of it is that they had to be picked up by tomorrow, Monday and ViaRail in Saskatoon is only open on Sundays and Mondays from 11pm to 4:30 am. yes pm to am. So we took a lovely random drive out to the station which we thought was somewhere else, took a pit stop at a Esso to ask where ViaRail was, got directions, drove into the night, 11:30pm into which I thought was the most random place ever to find a very empty station.

At this point we are both kind of hesitant, however I park out front, and we walk into the empty building. Finally a tall, Frankenstein type looking man comes out of this back door and goes to start the coffee, we tell him that we are there to pick up tickets for a ride in June and he replies "So I don't need to start the coffee then?"...no. Then out from the back comes a nice man who helps up and we all talk for a bit because he obviously has a long night ahead of him and "Frankenstein" is already half a sleep and could use a cup of coffee. strong coffee that is.
