Its never easy to say goodbye. Today my family and I had to say goodbye to a very dear member of our family. It hurts just as bad as when we said good bye to her brother and now after 14 years we must say goodbye to Snowball, our kitty-cat.
One thing that must be understood, is that our cats were never just cats to Scott and I. They grew up with us, they were there when others weren't, they were our friends when we felt we had none, they were sometimes the only ones that would listen. They knew when we were sad, and when something was wrong. They both went through many moves, cities, and houses, they were there for the hard and the good, and unlike people no matter what they were by our side no matter what. They weren't just cats to us, they were like a brother and sister.
Its never easy, to say goodbye. I will see you in heaven, but for now I must be content knowing that you are sitting on Grandma's lap purring away. Love you more than words can say, even if you were only my cat. love and prayers little one. m
