So it has been a while now that I have written. I apoligize or that, my reason for the lack of updates is that off... I gave the computer up, or as some would say, "I fasted from the computer", for 5 days! To some that may not seem like long time to be off of a computer, for myself that is forever! I struggled with it in the begining, however by the time Sunday night came and I could go back on I really could have cared less. Now just a side note, it was my own decision to give up the computer, I was not sawyed by anyone.
On that note, I shall change the topic.
Two Sunday's ago there was a Sandcastle competion at a beach in Newport (I don't know if I already wrote about this, and if so please forgive me!). It was so great to get out and go to the sunny beach! Just to hang out and take in the sights and smells of the ocean were just what I needed!
Last week not much happend..oh we did some local outreach, which was a blast!
We headed out to Skid Row and handed out water and just hung out with all the homeless people there! I love doing stuff like that and just chilling out with people.
Last weekend we didn't do much, on Saturday we had Outreach meetings for part of the afternoon. Then I just hung out, I wasn't feeling hat well so I slept for part of the late afternoon, and then went to bed at around 8:45...you know I am sick when I go to bed before 10pm. Then on Sunday I went to a church called New Zion (An all black church) and walked in and the first thing that I thought was of it reminding me of when I was a child and went to church in Lumsden. It had sounded like a full crowd today and when we walked into the chapel we came to discover that there was only 22 people plus the five of us! It was great though we got to meet everyone and then pray all together! It was so fun just to be there.
Other than that not much is happening. I am fasting lunch today because I don't have all my outreach money and am praying that God will provide me with the funds to pay for it! I must run though class is starting in 4 minutes! I will write again sooner!
