This morning as I was sitting outside watching the trees I saw a squirrel playing in the trees, and I suddenly became really homesick. Missing the sounds and smells of fall, the leaves crunching under my feet, the yellow, brown, and orange leaves, picking out a pumpkin from the country, and going to the lake. So I am in fall with drawl. Then I started missing family during a task that we had to do in lecture, however I had some cry time and got it all out.
Last weekend we had what is crazy weather in Los Angeles...it rained in September! I know! Crazy!!! Anyways it was pouring outside and Andrea (the girl on the right in the photo) and I were dancing in the rain, and then a bunch of the guys said that they were walking down to the 7-11 5 blocks away and asked if we wanted to go, so why not, soaking wet already Andrea, and then Keisha and I walked with them down to the 7-11 at 11:30pm. By the time we got back to the house I was soaked right though all my layers, best part about it I was wearing all cotton!!!
This weekend I am headed into Hollywood and staying at a hostel there with 2 other girls from my school. We are going to take in the sights and sounds of Los Angeles because we really haven't been able to do that! So I think that it will be a great way to celebrate my birthday!
Other then that, not much is happening, keeping busy with lecture, homework (which I should be doing right now), work duties (landscaping), and hanging out with everyone. So on that note I shall be off, I am going to go to bed early tonight, and I really do need to read. I am also a little hungry so I will maybe have a snack. So until next time..

p.s. Americans I have realised actually know nothing about Canada, and if they do its because they have visited it and then they only know about the area that they visited. Favorite question "Whats a Province?" no jokes!!!
Mallory,
ReplyDeleteLove your "fall with drawl." Perfect.

hahaha...that's awesome. I can totally relate here. I've also been getting some pretty odd questions.
