with a passport in hand...

My heart longs for the view from an airplane or train. The feeling you get when you are somewhere new, or somewhere you just haven't been for a while. My heart loves to be on the move, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I love that feeling of taking a deep breath and breathing  in the air of a place less traveled.  Why is it that I am happiest it seems when I am on the road, in another place? If I could I would travel all the time having a home base and going out and seeing as much of Gods amazing creations as I could! I don't' have eyes, ears, and a heart to be still. I have a need to go out and learn first hand, not from a book. I am ready when you are God to take my family to the ends of the earth to share your love and the heart you have given me. May this time right now be one of equipping to go out and one day have a happy heart overflowing with your love to pour out onto others who may not have felt it before. (May you also give that to me here and now). I want to see the mountains in Nepal, the deserts in Morocco, the streets of India, the buildings in Prague, the sandy shores of New Zealand, the coast of Nova Scotia the snow in Russia, the rain in Seattle. I want to see the faces of men and women from every nations, to hear the laugh of every small child, and to see the wonderful wrinkles on the face of grandmas and the wisdom in grandpas eyes. Oh there is so much to see, may my kids grow up with the understanding there is so much more to life then the Americas. May I be flying on the wings of an airplane with  my family beside me or feeling the wind go by as we make our way country side by train. May we all not settle for whats on our street block but with all the wonderful things waiting to be discovered!
